I started at Alliander 1.5 years ago as trainee. When I started there Joost was one of the leads in the team. He taught me a lot about Spring, Java, platform(Openshift) and much more. He was always eager, and passionate, to teach his colleagues. The way he explained everything was very easy to follow. As our team lead he was instrumental in the development of our team as a more grown up scrum team. He was also one of the driving forces behind the platform. It was a pleasure working together with him.
Joost has been my internship supervisor at CGI, It was great to work with him. He was an excellent coach and gave me support as needed without micro managing. His feedback was very useful and accurate and he was always accessible and gave a rapid response to issues raised.
